Unity
and Prayer
Prayer is the
foundation and the heart of our work. Unity Church of Peace maintains a
prayer circle and a prayer list, and we welcome parishioners to hold in
their hearts and mind the souls represented on the list.
The prayer list is
also printed in our Sunday bulletins.
We believe that healing power comes
from realizing (from the words of Unity Minister Eric Butterworth) that
prayer is “… not a matter of conquering God’s reluctance, but of
attuning ourselves to God’s eternal willingness …” to provide, to give, and
to heal.
