Happy November! Our Adventures in Faith series starts this week, as does our November theme, “Faith that Flows,” focusing on the Power of Faith. Have you heard the axiom, “Fake it ’till you make it?” Rev. Dr.’s Bil and Cher Holton revised that for our leadership training program last year to “Faith it ‘till you make it!”
There is great wisdom in that little affirmation, because Faith is our ability to spiritually know; trust absolutely; and to believe with confidence and conviction.
In our Fall Adventures in Faith series, we will explore, embrace and expand our prosperity consciousness. To help guide us, we have chosen the book, Secret of Unlimited Prosperity, by Catherine Ponder. During each of the four weeks, we will focus on one of the spiritual principles that, if practiced with Faith, will cause us to live more abundantly – in every area of our lives.
Sounds like a bold statement, doesn’t it? As I’ll explain on Sunday, these practices are as old as time itself. The message in the practice is clear – God is the Source of our abundant supply, whether that supply is financial, health and well-being, relationships, career or creativity.
So, if our supply doesn’t feel so abundant in one area or another, we can change it! Join us this Sunday in person, or on Zoom, as we begin our Adventure in Faith-filled prosperity!
