Kara has 15 years of teaching experience from preschool to 5th grade.
She served in the Marine Corps for 5 years as an aviation electrician, EMT, and CPR instructor where she used her skills to help with casuality evacuations in Iraq.
Kara joined us a week after we reopened for in-person services in July of 2021, and became a member in October of 2021.
She is a reiki master and shamanic practitioner. She has believed in Unity’s teachings for a long time, but didn’t know of a place locally that aligned with her beliefs, until a friend directed her to UCOP.
She is excited to rebuild our Youth program and help guide children and families on their spiritual path. Kara has two boys ages 8 and 15.
