Prayer is the Answer
We have spent the month of September focusing on forgiveness and this Sunday, we explore that prayer is the answer to this and many other issues in our human experience.
Prayer changes things as our beloved author Eric Butterworth reminds us that we don’t pray to God but from a consciousness of God.
He says, “Prayer is a supermind process; it does not reach out and up to God for help, but seeks to get centered at the supermind level within. It is an acknowledgement of the ever presence of the divine activity, and then "moving your feet" getting on with your work.”
When we are living from the Christ consciousness that we are, we are centered in love and it’s much easier to make that choice to forgive and let go. If we think someone has done something that we are having trouble forgiving, we should pray for them all the things you wish for yourself and do this for a couple of weeks. When it comes into your mind-pray for them. What you will discover is a transformation will take place. There will be a miracle within you and you will be changed at depth. That’s because prayer is the answer.
I invite you to join us for this very special Sunday as we dedicate our prayer team to the congregation. This is always one of my favorite times of the year! Please be present because it’s always better when you’re with us!
Much love,
Rev Donna
