At the heart of Unity teachings is a simple yet profound truth: Love is not just something we feel—it is the creative force of the universe itself. This Sunday’s message, The Cosmic Process of Love, invites us to explore love as an ever-unfolding spiritual principle that shapes creation, consciousness, and our everyday lives.
In Unity, we understand God as divine love expressing everywhere, always. Love is the movement of Spirit—flowing through stars and seasons, through human hearts and holy intentions. It is the process by which life expands, heals, and harmonizes. When we align our thoughts and actions with love, we cooperate with the very intelligence that brings order out of chaos and possibility out of limitation.
Jesus demonstrated this cosmic love through compassion, inclusion, and forgiveness. He taught that love is transformative: it restores relationships, dissolves fear, and reveals our oneness with God and one another. As Unity cofounder Charles Fillmore reminded us, love is a power—an energy that unifies and elevates all it touches.
This Sunday, we will reflect on how the cosmic process of love is active within us right now. Love begins as divine idea, moves through thought and feeling, and finds expression through our words and deeds. Each time we choose patience over judgment, kindness over fear, or understanding over separation, we participate consciously in this sacred process.
May this message remind us that love is not something we must earn or manufacture—it is the eternal current of Spirit, flowing through us and as us. As we open ourselves to love’s guidance, we become willing partners in its cosmic work, helping to heal our world one loving choice at a time.
