Myrtle’s Five Steps to Healing

Myrtle Fillmore, co-founder of Unity, left us a timeless spiritual practice through her Five Steps to Healing. These steps remind us that healing is not just about the body—it is a whole-life alignment of mind, heart, and spirit with divine truth.

The steps are simple yet profound. Myrtle practiced these steps daily, affirming wholeness in herself and others, and her life became a living testimony to their power.  It is why so many have been drawn to the Unity and New Thought movement.

When we intentionally follow these steps, we cultivate a deep awareness that health and vitality are our natural state as children of God. They guide us to replace fear with faith, to shift from limitation to possibility, and to nurture our bodies with love instead of criticism and we all know how important it is to pay attention to our self-talk!

In a world where quick fixes are often sought, Myrtle’s five steps invite us into a slower, prayerful rhythm—one that affirms Spirit’s healing life already at work within us. By practicing them faithfully, we remember that wholeness is not something we must achieve, but something we allow.

I invite you to join us this Sunday when we will go through these steps and explore how Myrtle’s life changed when she learned about spiritual principles and the power of mind over body. It’s always better if you’re with us, whether in person or in the sanctuary!

Hope to see you very soon!

Much love,

Rev Donna
