The Law of Karma

The Law of “Karma” or Cause and Effect

We’re moving into our third week or principal of The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success by Deepak Chopra. The first week was about our pure potentiality and last week was about giving and receiving.

This week we will be talking about cause and effect. This important law that governs the universe is absolutely reliable and unbreakable and learning how it works is truly crucial to your success.

Deepak also calls it the law of “Karma”. The basic idea is that every action we take generates a force of energy that returns to us in like kind. Just as the expression, what you reap is what you will sow. You hear many different expressions that also describe that there is always a balance: What goes around comes around; The measure you give will be the measure you get, and so on. Scientists put it into more analytical terms: Every action causes an equal and opposite reaction. You only have to hit a tennis ball to know that!

Your journey will be much simpler when you really comprehend how it works. What it boils down to is this: Every thought, feeling, word and action-without exception-is a cause that sets into motion an eventual effect. Sometimes effects are immediate and other times, it could take a century to manifest. It may seem like it could be cruel, but in actuality it is the most fair and rational of all laws because it guarantees that no other force can harm us or make us do something we don’t want to do. I encourage you to join us in this discussion and see how these ideas can lead to another way of seeing something that has unfolded in your life. After all, this law never fails, so it’s a good thing to learn how to work with it in our daily lives!

Much love, Rev Donna
