Dear Friends,
We begin a new Unity theme for September, “I AM The Light,” and
affirmation, “I shine God’s light in the world.” In his book, “The Atom-
Smashing Power of Mind,” Charles Fillmore tells us that the well-being of
this world rests with its inhabitants. Every person must begin on
themselves and, as it dawns, let the light shine by imparting it to others.
Wow! Have you ever considered that all the problems we might be
criticizing in this world could be resolved if we just chose to shine our lights
with others, instead? What a humbling responsibility we have been given. If
we accepted that charge, what would we look like? Feel like? Sound like?
Act like? Can you imagine yourself as a powerhouse of God’s light, love,
order and peace, and sharing that freely with the world?
I invite you to join me this Sunday as we explore how we can turn up our
wattage on God’s light shining through us!
