Dear Friends,
This Sunday is the first Sunday in the season of Advent. The word “advent,” meaning any coming, arrival or approach, begins the season in which we can intentionally practice living the Unity Principles: God Is, I Am, I Think, I Pray, I Live.
Why would this intentional practice be important to us today? With the coming of Christmas, the celebration of the birth of the Christ Child, we also celebrate our reawakening consciousness to the Spiritual Principle ever-present in humankind. This Principle is the Divinity within each us, the eternal part of us, from which we can never be separated. And, the first step of this intentional practice is always Faith.
In this very busy holiday season, Faith helps us affirm the truth that the Presence, Power and Intelligence of God live in us, through us around us, and as us. And to make our faith “unshakeable,” we might need to give it some energy, the power of pro-active gratitude! It’s not just about being
grateful, it’s about doing grateful!
Join us this Sunday as we discover how to give Faith the added enthusiasm of Proactive Gratitude!
Blessing you abundantly,
Rev. Eileen
